Left turn Clyde!!

Oops...I can't believe I left Clyde out of our family update yesterday. It's a good thing he can't check the computer--I believe his beautiful face would droop even more than usual if he saw I left him out! So, without further ado--Clyde!--He's doing great (all 75 pounds of him!) He is Chloe's personal bodyguard, best friend, and doll to dress up! He is so great with her. He generally sleeps 18-20 hours a day--unless we have company--then he actually moves around the house to check them out. As most of you know, he had a hip joint replacement 2 summers ago and he is still doing great from that. We do, however, have to remind Chloe that even though Clyde will let her sit on him--she shouldn't, and that asking him for a ride is out of the question! He's still a mama's boy and likes to follow me from room to room--especially if Chloe's not at home, because he knows he'll get some extra attention. I'm sure there are times he misses being the only "baby" in the house, but when Chloe's gone we can tell he misses her and it's so cute how they greet each other every morning (Chloe yells a hearty "Buuudddy! Good morning!" and Clyde gives her 2 snorts and actually sits up to greet her--it takes a lot to get that dog to move!) We're interested to see how he reacts when we bring home another baby girl! Two girls dressing him up all the time might be a little hard to take--but he's smart enough to know when to fake like he's asleep!
